Brief Biography
Katri comes to UVic with almost 20 years of professional experience in costuming. After completing a degree (BA Soc) at SFU, and a Diploma in Costume Studies at Dalhousie University (Dean’s List and top student award), she’s spent her time diligently working and studying to further her skills in as many costume fields as possible.
With experience in men’s wear, women’s wear, dance, opera, tailoring, tutu construction, animal wear and puppetry, she’s occupied positions as cutter, stitcher, tailor, assistant designer, coordinator, head of wardrobe and dresser for both theatre and film/television across the country.
