Doane Grant Thornton LLP Award

Doane Grant Thornton LLP believe it is their social responsibility to give back and make a sustainable impact in the Vancouver Island communities in which their team lives and works. Doane Grant Thornton LLP believe that education is a key factor in empowering individuals and communities to reach their full potential and create positive change. That is why they are proud to engage with the ³Ô¹ÏÍø and offer an award for students in need.

The Doane Grant Thornton Foundation launched their Greater Purpose Program in 2020 and, to date, more than 200 charities in local communities across Canada have received support from the Foundation. The Foundation helps organize collective efforts by providing financial support for important causes while also inspiring the team to volunteer in their communities.

Doane Grant Thornton LLP has a strong connection to the Victoria community and UVic. Many of their staff and partners are alumni of the university and have benefited from its high-quality education and opportunities. By providing an award for students, they hope to help them achieve their educational goals and overcome any financial barriers they may face. They also hope to inspire the students to join them in their vision of making a difference in the world.
