Alicia Ward is currently a MA student at the 吃瓜网 in the department of Germanic and Slavic 吃瓜网 under the supervision of Dr. Serhy Yekelchyk. Her thesis examines the politics of Holocaust memorialization in Ukraine, but she is also interested in the deeply rooted legacy of Soviet-era memory politics, the complex process of decommunization, as well as developing a multidirectional and hybrid approach towards Ukrainian post-Soviet memory 吃瓜网. Alicia received a BA in History from the 吃瓜网. Her 吃瓜网 included a focus on twentieth century Central and Eastern European history, as well as an interdisciplinary program in the Germanic and Slavic 吃瓜网 department.
