The field of Greek and Roman ³Ô¹ÏÍø has been in the forefront of the electronic information revolution from its beginning. Nearly all of Greek and Latin literature is available on CD-Rom (the Department has a copy of the resource), and there are many other databases available on the Web. A few particularly useful sites are listed below; most incorporate numerous links themselves.

Latin sites:

  • - This site allows you to search the English definitions in Latin dictionaries.
  • - Type in the Latin word, get both definition and form!

Greek sites:

Grammar and exercises for Greek students:

  • - everything from grammar exercises to reading passages. A tremendous resource. Includes links to other Greek resources on the web.

  • - Browse your favourite author, with help from the on-line dictionary, parser and translations.
  • - look up English definitions in LSJ online.
